Category: Infra / Anti-Detection Browser Patches + Cloud Browser Platform

What It Is

Rebrowser is a two-part offering:

  1. rebrowser-patches (open source, MIT-licensed) - A collection of patches for Puppeteer and Playwright that prevent automation detection leaks. Patches the Runtime.Enable CDP detection vector, changes script source URLs from pptr:... to generic names, and customizes the utility world name. Also ships pre-patched drop-in replacement packages: rebrowser-puppeteer, rebrowser-puppeteer-core, rebrowser-playwright, rebrowser-playwright-core (Node.js), and rebrowser-playwright (Python/PyPI).

  2. Rebrowser Cloud Platform (commercial SaaS) - Undetectable remote cloud browsers accessible via CDP endpoint, a web scraper API, and ready-to-use datasets refreshed daily. Handles infrastructure, proxies, and anti-detection so automation code connects to a remote browser rather than launching a local one.

The patches do not guarantee full undetectability - additional measures (proxies, user agents, canvas/WebGL fingerprints, behavioral scripts) are required.

The cloud platform Appropriate Use Policy prohibits: DDoS attacks, spam, advertising/click fraud, unauthorized account creation, unauthorized reselling, hacking, malware distribution, IP violations, and harvesting personal data without consent. Violations result in account suspension, forfeiture of prepaid fees, and potential legal action.

Permitted uses include SEO, ad verification, authorized web scraping, market research, multi-account management for legitimate business purposes, and cross-platform testing.
